Fallen: 4-6 Chapters

Thrown into into her first day of reform school, Luce doesn't really know who to call friends and who to try to make friends with at all. Waking up in the middle of the night from she realizes she had forgotten to report to detention at before dawn and she scrambles to the graveyard to find herself alone. Waiting for about ten minutes she finds her friend Penn walking around the campuss and realizes she needed to meet the detention group in the middle of the cemetary, not the gate. Running as fast as she could, she stumbles into the group finding herself an hour late as it was and on bad terms with the newest teacher Miss Price. Realizing she wasn't the only person there she finds her two boy intrests Cam and Daniel among the group. Finding out that detention for a reform school consisted of scrubing down old statues and cleaning leaves, she finds herself without a partner since no one wanted to team up with her. After a few minutes of no takers, Cam finally steps up to claim her when Arriane interjects starting an argument over Luce. In the end Arriane gets her and she and the others work in silence while Luce watches Daniel from afar. Trying to get as much information from Arriane about Daniel, she finds herself getting nothing new of him and instead in another brawl with Molly, but instead of fists and meatloaf in the mess Molly only warns Luce to stay clear of Daniel, and not for jealous reasons. After hearing his name being discussed Daniel approaches Luce making her have no words to say, since everytime she sees him she goes speechless. While debating on her words she feels the shadows linger over her and the next thing they know the statue behind her begins to shake and tumble towards them. Daniel quickly ducks Luce to the side, but once the entire group comes to help he quickly leaves the scene.

Later that week, Luce finds out on Wednsdays at night they have whats called 'Social Night' where the school makes the students watch stupid trival movies and quizzes them just to tell the state they give them social times. What made Luce more excited about that night instead was what happend after the social night: the after-party which just so happened to be in Cam's room of all places. Finally showing up with Penn and Arriane at her heels, she is welcomed by Cam himself at the door with smoke and drinks all around. Walking in she sees people she wouldn't really expect to socialize with one another like Roland, Molly, Gabbe, and of course Daniel. When she should have been focussing all her attention on Cam who was giving her all the attentino she had been craving since the first day she came to Stone & Cross, she instead found herself directing her gaze towards Daniel. When Daniel finally decided to leave, Luce was going to follow him out to see if she could get him alone again to just talk but instead was distracted and found Daniel with Gabbe instead. Broken hearted for no apparant reason at all, she skipped out on the rest of the party and went to her room.

The next morning she hears and annoucment over the loud speakers telling the entire school body that a fitness assessment was soon to be evaluated fo each student that morning. Still tired from her previous night, she finds herself, Penn and her now envious personal Gabbe being directed to the swimming pool for their test. In the end, Luce plunges herself into the water doing quite well until she overhears Gabbe mentioning Daniels name and that was the one distraction that made her stall and instead another student make it to the end of his laps first. Frustrated that even the mention of his name could make her loose her concentration, she gets out of the pool to find Gabbe and Arriane gone, and instead Roland sitting on the sidelines. Walking out of the gym to the fitness room she sees Daniel inside jump ropping and gets that sense of deja-vu watching him. Feeling the sense of darkness again, this time she literally back tracks and feels the shadows push her out of the doorway. Realizing she dropped her key in the doorway she sneaks in and grabs it but finds herself being watched by Daniel himself. Sending off all the wrong signals like calling her a stalker and what-not, at the same time she over hears him state things like 'thats not like you', or saying her full name which she had not told anyone. Luce feels more and more confused as she leaves the wait room upset.
