Fallen: 7-9 Chapters

Along with cramming for mid-terms, avoiding a crazy, pixie-cut, bully girl named Molly, and trying to keep good terms with all her teachers Luce finds herself in jumble along with non-stop thinking of the secret Daniel, and the sudden facisnation of Cam's attention.

While rushing to class one morning, Luce runs into Cam hanging outside in the courtyard. Inviting her to skip class and instead have a picnic with her Luce debates for a couple of seconds before following Cam to the cemetary. Your probably thinking 'picnic in a cemetary?' uh...creepy. But it was the only solace place they could go to be alone offically, and the time for Luce was not bad. From packing the perfect picnic for Luce's vegetarian eating habits, to protecting her from a grass snake that found itself in the blanket. And at the perfect moment for them to be so close, the moment was ruined when her now former envious enemy Gabbe interupts them sending them back to class.

While trying to work on her family-tree research paper, Penn barges in taking her to an underground filing system that has all the information of the students at Stone & Cross, giving her the opportunity to learn some more background information on Daniel. Coming to the conclusion that Daniel was an orphan, and that all his arrests and crimal background had been petty things like jaywalking or vandalism. Nothing hardcore like she was hoping. Deciding she was going to sneak a peak on Cam's file too, instead they overhear noise above them and run out before they are caught. Along her way out though Luce runs into Molly, who intimiadtes her letting loose that Molly knows her dark secret of friend Trevor's death, who she had never told to anyone at Stone & Cross.

While walking across the courtyard to meet up with Penn at the bleachers, Luce gets hit by a soccer ball from Roland's game. While trying to steady herself from dizziness, Luce starts to fall forward when two strong hands catch her.

Daniel.

Backtracking, she finds herself drawn to him when she should have been revolted. Asking her if she was alright, he leads her away from the staring eyes of others. Taking her down a trail she had not seen around campuss, Daniel leads Luce to a open field that is directed towards a huge rock overcompansing a beautiful lake. Intrigued, she feels herself yet again in that comfortable position when she was around Daniel, and while he begins to undress and jump into the water before them Luce finds herself admiring Daniel's body. Jumping in she and him race to the other side and talk for quite sometime like they had done this on a regular basis, but after some time Luce opens her big mouth by saying she felt some connection to him and scares Daniel away but not fast enough for Luce to notice something odd shown on the back of his body...it looked to be wings.
